Warhammer 40K - The Battle For Blodband Campaign

This narrative-driven Warhammer 40K campaign puts the story in the hands of our Discord community. Victories, defeats, and player votes will shape the sector’s fate week by week. Every battle matters. Every decision echoes across the stars.

Campaign Launch: 26th November

Duration: 5 weeks (1 round per week)

Venue: In-person battles + Discord narrative hub

Each week’s events and missions will be announced on Discord, influenced directly by player results, faction actions, and community polls.

Points Limit: 1,500 points (standard Matched Play)

Army Construction:
Use current Warhammer 40K rules and Codices
Single Detachment limit (unless otherwise stated)
Legend MODELS CONSIDER ( Yes Sly Marlo is allowed) 
 

Campaign :  

• Players align with one of three major factions:
  Imperium | Chaos | Xenos

• Each faction’s battles, victories, and Discord decisions affect the campaign map and story.

• Weekly Discord votes will determine things like:

  • Which world each faction attacks or defends

  • Random events, planetary effects, or reinforcements

  • Narrative twists (e.g. warp storms, orbital bombardments, hero appearances)

Example:

Week 2 — Chaos captures the refinery moon! Discord vote: does the Imperium counterattack or fortify their bastion world?

Scoring & Progress

• Win: 3 campaign points

• Draw: 1 point

• Loss: 0 points

• Faction bonuses: Earned through painting submissions, lore write-ups, and Discord roleplay posts.

Each week, faction points update the live Sector War Map posted on Discord.

Hobby & Narrative Bonuses

Earn extra influence for your faction by contributing hobby content:

• Painted units or terrain (+1 point)

• Narrative battle reports (+1 point)

• Character lore posts (+1 point)

Prizes & Awards

• Best General – Highest win rate

• Master of Lore – Best narrative contribution

• Best Painted Army – Judged at campaign’s end

• Faction Champion – MVP for each faction

• Overall Winner – Decided by narrative + points

• Commanders discuss faction strategy

• Players vote on narrative outcomes

• Battle reports and art add to the unfolding story

• The campaign master (TO) weaves results into weekly updates
